Basic Soul Unit is the main DJ and production alias of Stuart Li, a Toronto artist with a long connection to underground house, techno and record culture.
His musical background includes Toronto college radio, after-hours parties and time working at Cosmos Records. That wide listening foundation shows up in sets that can move between deep house, techno, disco and more abrasive or acidic material.
