Toronto DJ Lighting & Uplighting Cost
Public Toronto lighting add-on examples and a framework for comparing what “lighting included” actually means.
“Lighting” can mean two small dance effects or a substantial room-production package. Current public examples range from $150 for eight uplights at Simple Wedding DJ to $1,250 for intelligent dance-floor lighting at Monaco Events.
Separate lighting types
Dance-floor effects, uplighting, moving heads/intelligent fixtures, monograms and architectural lighting solve different problems. Count fixtures and ask what control/placement is included.
Current public examples
Simple Wedding DJ publishes $150 for eight uplights and $300 for dancefloor lighting. Monaco Events publishes $800 for 16 uplights, $300 for semi-intelligent dance-floor lighting and $1,250 for intelligent dance-floor lighting.
Venue implications
Room size, ceiling height, power, rigging restrictions, haze rules and daylight all affect whether a lighting upgrade is useful. More fixtures are not automatically better.
