How We Research & Update the Site
How we research, verify, update and correct Toronto DJ information.
Local information changes. We label dates, distinguish editorial analysis from source claims, avoid pay-to-rank listings and publish a correction path.
- Verification dates matter.
- Sponsored status must never determine editorial ranking.
- Corrections are welcomed and logged.
Source hierarchy
Prefer primary sources for venue rules, business details and event policies; use reputable secondary sources for context; treat self-submitted listing details as claims until verified.
Directory policy
A future DJ directory should show verification dates and clear listing criteria. Paid visibility, if introduced, must be labeled and must not purchase a false editorial endorsement.
Corrections
Readers, DJs, venues and promoters can send corrections to todayidid@gmail.com. Include the page URL, the exact issue and a supporting source when possible.
Updates
High-change pages such as venues, prices and active event series should be reviewed more often than evergreen technique pages.
