For DJs
How the room changes the DJ setup
This is an indoor-and-outdoor venue, so the first DJ question is whether your event uses one space or several. A ceremony in the gardens, cocktails on the terrace and dinner/dancing inside can require separate speakers, microphones or a second small audio setup. Confirm what the venue supplies and where outside sound is permitted before the DJ quotes equipment.

Practical details
Load-in & access
Ask for the exact vendor entrance, unload point and setup window. If your event moves between the gardens, terrace and Great Hall, confirm the route for carts and whether equipment can remain staged between spaces.
Parking
Graydon Hall currently publishes parking for 120 cars. That is useful for guests and vendors, but the DJ should still confirm where an equipment vehicle may unload and whether it can remain onsite.
Power & production
For a terrace or garden setup, confirm power location, weather protection and whether outdoor speakers have any volume or placement restrictions. For the Great Hall, ask whether the DJ plugs into house equipment or brings a complete system.
Room flow
The strongest planning issue here is transition. If ceremony, cocktails and dancing happen in different areas, decide in advance whether music must continue during each move and whether one DJ setup can realistically cover it.
Decision help
Is this venue a good fit for your DJ plan?
A good fit when
You want a polished manor/garden setting and are willing to plan indoor/outdoor audio carefully.
Ask before booking the DJ
Which spaces will have music? Is ceremony audio separate? What is supplied by the venue? Where does the DJ load in? What is the wet-weather plan?

Weddings
Why people search this venue
Most Graydon Hall searches are wedding searches. The address is 185 Graydon Hall Drive, North York. Official capacities on graydonhall.com: lunch or dinner 50–140 in the Great Hall, cocktail up to 200 there, terrace with canopy up to 250 seated / 350 cocktail. That terrace is why a DJ quote here is rarely “one pair of speakers.”
If the ceremony is in the gardens, cocktails on the terrace and dinner inside, treat it as three audio zones until the venue and DJ agree otherwise. Outdoor volume and weather cover are the two questions that actually change the invoice. Parking is published at 120 cars; still ask where the DJ van unloads.
Hire the DJ the same way you would at any split-space venue. Put the zones on one scope sheet and compare quotes on Toronto DJ prices.
