Measure Divide is the project of Karachi-born, Toronto-based Fahad. After moving to Canada in 2004 and touring internationally in an earlier duo, he launched Measure Divide in 2012 and founded FORMAT the following year.
Notable public work
FORMAT grew into one of Toronto’s important underground techno platforms, bringing international artists into the city while supporting local talent. Measure Divide’s own production work has appeared on labels including Clergy and Mutual Rytm, and his touring has reached Berghain, Tresor, Boiler Room and other international institutions.
