How these lists work
Each page below groups Toronto DJs by the kind of event they work or the music they play. A DJ appears on a page only when their own site, public profile or event history shows that work, so the lists are shorter than a search engine's results and, we hope, more useful.
Start with the event. If you are planning a wedding, a corporate party or a school dance, the event pages explain what to ask and what usually drives the price. If the music matters most, for example a South Asian reception, a Caribbean fête or a house and techno night, start with the style pages.
Most DJs appear on more than one page. A company that does weddings will often also list corporate work and open-format parties. That overlap is normal, and it is a good sign when a DJ's profile explains what they actually do at each kind of event.
Every listing links to the DJ's own site or public profile. We do not rank DJs, sell positions on these pages or publish reviews. When a DJ has published prices, the Toronto DJ prices page and the pricing dataset include them with the source and the date we checked.
The directory currently lists 228 indexable profiles. Listings with very little public information are kept out of these pages until we can add more detail. If you know a DJ who should be here, use the submit page and include a public link that shows the work.
Not sure where to start? The DJ FAQ answers common booking questions, such as how far ahead to book and whether the DJ should also be your MC, and the guides go deeper on contracts, quotes and venue logistics.
We check listings against public sources and update them when a DJ or reader sends a correction with a source.
