ZAV is the DJ project of Danylo Davhorodnii, a Ukrainian-born artist now based in Toronto. His sound sits on the harder end of techno, drawing on schranz, gabber, psytrance and industrial textures.
His biography traces an early interest in DJing through time spent around European rave culture before settling in Toronto. He is also the founder of STRUCTURA, an event series built around the rawer energy of 1990s European rave culture.
