What promoters evaluate
Promoters usually care about musical identity, audience fit, professionalism and whether you support the night—not whether you own a large mobile sound system.
Prepare a useful mix
A concise recent mix that represents what you would actually play is more informative than a long archive. Label it clearly and avoid sending unrelated genres to a narrowly programmed night.
Know the booth
Ask what players, mixer, turntables and connections are installed. Bring tested media, headphones and any essential adapters, but do not assume you can rebuild the booth around your preferred setup.
Act like a good booking
Arrive early, respect set times, communicate changes, support the event and leave the booth organized. Reliability is remembered and is often what turns one slot into repeat work.
