How We Track Toronto DJ Scene Information

Our rules for keeping scene records useful without pretending fast-changing nightlife information is permanent.

What qualifies for a scene record?

We prioritize organizations, recurring series, venues and discovery resources with a clear Toronto connection and a public source that can be checked. We prefer durable entities over one-off parties.

What we record

Entity type, Toronto connection, publicly stated music focus, official source, a short description of current or recurring activity, and the date we last checked the record.

What we do not infer

We do not infer ownership, personal identity, audience demographics, genre specialization or current booking status from social imagery or hearsay. We also do not turn one historical event into a claim that an organizer is still active.

Volatile information

Lineups, dates, ticket prices, venues, hours and policies can change quickly. Scene pages point visitors to the live source rather than trying to become a permanent copy of a calendar.
