CODA Toronto
CODA is a dedicated electronic-music club at 794 Bathurst Street, across from Bathurst Station. It is one of the city’s most consistent places to see local and international DJs.
What is CODA known for?
CODA is built around electronic music rather than a mixed-format nightclub model. The club describes itself as the successor to Footwork and books a broad range of house, techno, bass and other electronic styles.
The room is also unusually focused on sound: CODA says it uses more than 50,000 watts of PK Audio across a 9,000-square-foot dance floor.
What kind of DJs play there?
The lineup changes from week to week. The current calendar includes touring electronic artists as well as Toronto support DJs and local nights. Depending on the date, you may see house, techno, tech house, bass music, drum & bass or other club-focused electronic styles.
If you care about a particular genre, check the actual event rather than assuming every CODA night sounds the same.
Getting there
CODA is at 794 Bathurst Street, just north of Bloor. Bathurst Station is directly across the street. The club says street parking is available nearby, with Green P parking west of Markham Street north of Bloor.
