Rhythm Toronto
Rhythm is more than a nightlife venue. It combines a record shop, DJ and production studio, community events and larger electronic-music parties.
What can you do at Rhythm?
At 141 Bathurst Street, Rhythm operates a record shop with a large electronic-music selection, hosts events in the space and offers studio time for production and DJ practice.
For newer DJs, that mix makes it unusually useful: you can buy music, practise on proper gear, attend workshops and meet people from the local scene in one place.
What kind of music does it focus on?
The shop and events lean heavily into underground electronic music. Rhythm lists records across techno, dub, electro, progressive, minimal, UK garage, house and related styles.
Rhythm Open Air
Rhythm also runs larger outdoor events. Its 2026 Open Air series at 131 McCormack included house, disco, electro, ghettotech, minimal and tech-house programming across different dates.

DJ practice and studio time
Rhythm’s studio offers DJ practice sessions. The venue asks DJs to bring Rekordbox-prepared USB drives and headphones; the room provides the core setup. This can be a useful bridge between practising at home and playing on a club-style system.
